Hello, I am a new member and have received an Iron Cross 2nd class for Christmas. I was told by the store owner that he does not sell reproductions. It looks like an original to me but I don’t know much about these items and would like a second opinion. I’ve identified the makers stamp as a Alfred Rosen? Anyway I hope you guys can help.

Three piece with an iron core? From your pictures it looks good.

Looks good to me also, that ribbon shows age.

That’s the real thing, I have my grand father’s in my office if you’d like me to post a picture. His is a little different, it’s second class and is marked 1914, given as a unit citation while he was in the horse drawn artillery. It does have the same ribbon.

Great piece of history!!!!!

Welcome to tnet from MI, Tommy
