Real or Fake? Gemstone/ Earings


Currently in Afghanistan and found these for a cheap price. Was wondering if they are real or not. Have no knowledge on the subject what so ever... Please help.
If pictures aren't clear enough let me know and ill take the post down.

what did the person you bought them from tell you they were ? no way to tell real or fake from a picture that i know of . real gold,real gems ?they appear to be however real ear rings ..

Looks like it might be real pink agate to me.

Here is a link to most common gemstones found there. I have seen some killer lapis come out of there, hope it helps.

they look like genuine, poor quality, highly occluded rubies to me...pink enough perhaps to be termed "pink sapphire". Pretty but not a lot of value. something along the lines of these..
