I now have a new camera
so I thought I would post a few finds from resent digs
I have not been able to get insitu pictures, which is what I like to take because of the recent loss of old camera (still waiting for it to be sent back
)Been a bit of a struggle of late with finds, the Villa field I think is coming to a end, spent 5 hours there yesterday with out much to show...new land beckons
The new Camera is a Ricoh CX4 has a great macro One of the bronze roman coins found yesterday look like it was set into either the floor or wall of the Villa
it still has the fixing material on the back, I it find pretty cool, as the last person to hold it, could have been one of the workers that made the villa Seems the spoon is Roman after all
http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/432221 like I thought part of a Cosmetic set SS
