I am calling this first one a scottsbluff. although I see it's not the standard shape. anyone got a better description?
I found it within a few hundred yards of a larger point made from the exact same chert(not sure what kind?) that I know is a Scotty.

All were found over the last several months in different loations.

Sweet finds and the color, nice. those colorful ones are always my favorite.
you know they had to show their goods off just as modern men do.
good luck and take care... JYD..

Sid, it could be Stone Square Stem, or even part of the McKean complex. In the area you are hunting you can find anything from 14,000 years old to current day. Associative context means nothing on the river. Nice finds, looks like you've been doing well.

I thought Stone square stem at first, but then I looked at the flaking. Its got some fine flaking, and my square stems are not flaked so fine. I'd say you had some great luck. I liked the secound and third point as well as the drill.... You gotta be happy.... John P.s I forgot what State your in?

Very nice sid.
