Good Call Though. Had been leaving my name and number at different banks. One called today and said some little old man had came in and cashed in $70 Dollars worth of halves and wanted to know if I wanted them! OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!! Told them I would be in tomorrow and they said they would put them back for me. Wish me Luck!!!!
On another note went and got $210 in sealed halves today. SKUNK!!!! Didn't really bother me though because I am already thinking about tomorrow!

Well picked up the $70.00 in Halves. Not looked them yet because my wife wants to go through them with me tomorrow after I get off work. As before wish me luck. I hope I'm not building this anticipation up just to get shot down with clad bullets!!!!!!! HA,HA

Good Hunting!!!!!!

You have amazing self-control. I'd have gone through them and been done before reaching my driveway:)

I have 3 boxes of halves that have been sitting here for over 3 days. Just don't have the time. They ain't going anywhere. :)

Well the answer you all have been waiting for is here!!!!!!!!!! Me and my wife looked through the seven rolls as soon as I walked in the door this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of seven rolls:

86 - 40% Kennedy Halves

3 - 90% Kennedy Halves

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you little old Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only a 63.5% keeper rate. Man, I think it's time to quite the game.

(There's no way I could say that with a straight face!!!)

Since the Government start pulling silver finds like that are going to be the way to go!
I have had a couple nice scores like that.
Way to go on working the system.

I agree! Not going to find that in any box out there. Only if your luck enough to catch someone cashing in a long keeped collection! Yeh, glad it was me!

Most of my best scores are from convincing tellers to sell me the bags on the machines. It gets you the collection that was deposited for that denomination, It was a bag like that I found 4 70Ds and 5 70S's in with a bunch of other proofs etc.
Best to get it before it goes to the fed, or before anyone else can search though it.
