hello everyone. i have an a52 keen sluice that i turned it into a recirculation box. i was told that the proper angle is 1" per foot of fall. thats how i set it up. i was also told the 2200gph should flow threw it. im wondering if this is correct. i am from colorado and most of my material will be classified at 1/4" and its going to come from clear creek just outside of blackhawk. here is a pic of how i set it up.

1 inch to a foot is right.
You may still have to adjust, depends on water flow and material.
Make sure your material is damp or wet.
I set mine up with 1 inch to a foot, and then regulate the water flow.

ya i got 1" per ft fall. oh ya i forgot about the material being wet. thanks.

I'm thinking you might need a little more water flow than that, I set my A51 up with a 2000gph pump and had to make the drop a lot more as the water flow wasn't what I thought it would be, so you may need more drop so the riffles will clear.

so add alittle more slope to offset the flow?

like prospecting im new to this too. ive tryed to figure out how to delete the nonsense ones. sorry an sh_t.
