Garrett Ace 400
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I have the Bounty Hunter Tracker IV. Now I think it is a great Metal Detector, but I am thinking of upgrading. I like to search for Coins, specifically. Can anyone recomend a good model Metal Detector to get? Now this is what I am looking for in a new detector.

1. LED Visuals..showing coin types, gold, silver, copper etc.

2. Depth perception - indicating approximate depth

3. Toning -different tone for different types of objects

4. Filtering out the garbage.

I know this is alot, and many many perform all these functions or partial. I just want to know an affordable, decent brand to get.

Thanks!

Good luck with that!

When u find one that does all that let us all know.lol

The Teknetics Eurotek Pro is brand new on the market. It comes with an 8" concentric coil for $219 or with a double D 11" coil for $299. Picks up coins next to junk. Large numeric ID. IDs good as deep as 8" & depth reading to 9", in non-motion pinpoint. Ground balance is fixed but a new design that permits good operation in iron-infested ground. Iron can be set to sound off loud or soft, or off with flash. tekneticst2.com/ is website IIRC. Should be a video or two on You Tube. I haven't tried it yet, but read the manual on the website. Best wishes, George (MN)
