I have stayed away from this site since Feb. 2, 06 simply because I couldn't risk the temptation. I had a hernia operation on the 2nd, and soon it will have been four weeks. I hope to get a clean bill of health at tomorrow's follow up appointment. Can't wait to get back out there. Hopefully this weekend. I tested the water today and went on a two mile walk. Feels fine. Went back to work a week ago. I should feel lucky, the deep freeze here the past two days has given me more reason not to push it. So to all of you swinging the machine, enjoy. I'll be back soon, next week--maybe. Wish me luck.

Been there, done that. Here's to a speedy recovery. Hope your detector doesn't weigh more than 10 pounds.

Ren,

sounds like everything is coming along o.k.

Hope you have a fine hunt next week.

have a good un..........

I know how hard it is to want to get going but believe me take a few more weeks to recupe. I'v had 7 hernia surgeries in the last 3 years and haven't helped myself in the recuperation, it drove me stir crazy and I had to get outside over did it a few times I'm sure and payed a big price. I'm not tring to worry you mine was from a cancer surgery originally. Just take the extra time to let the muscle heal, don't lift a much wgt and dont bend over to pick stuff off the ground for a few weeks. In the long run having one is better than pushing it and having to have more. Take care and spring is around the corner. :D

I just posted on another topic that MDing was good for you , but see what lifting all that heavy gold has done to you? Get well and don't push it. Monty
