Regulation 1851 Union Sword Belt Plate

Can you believe the condition this is in? I haven't been able to find one exactly like it yet.
One was taken with a flash and the other without the flash.

Looks real and has the proper type of hook and loop for a Civil War piece. This is a heavily repro'd piece however, so caution must be observed. If real, I've seen militaria dealers asking $350. for similar pieces.
