Bucket list coin...........

Spent 3 days down in VA looking for CW relics. Had a great time as always with my buds from MI, and seen many old friends. That is always the best part of these hunts. Finds were slim for me, but I did get a bucket list coin. Day two I got a perfect high tone quarter signal. Turns out it was 1/50 of a quarter. Got my first ever US Half Cent. 1851. She has a hole in the center, but no doubt came from a soldiers pocket. I am very happy to have found it. Only a few other finds including some still in wood. A fun one for me was a piece of buck shot inside of a small tree. The fun part is you can shake it like a rattle. 715 miles to home driving through some nasty near white out condition at times but made it back to MI around 9pm last night. Hoping everyone made it home safe. God bless you all.

Several of my old coins have a hole punched in the middle. But, even with the hole in it...I'll take that 1/2 cent any day! Way to go!.
