Stopped by my bank this afternoon and while I was talking to the teller, another teller said don't forget to give him his coins:). They had saved up some rejects from the coin counter, and put them in an envelope for me.

The goodies included
9 Canada $2.00 coins 1996(6); 1998 (1);2005 (1) 2006 (1)
5 Mexico 10 Pesos 1998 (1); 1999 (1); 2004 (1) 2005 (1) 2000 (1)
1 Canada $1.00 coin 1987
1 France 2 Euro coin 2000
1 Switzerland 5 Franc Coin 1979
1 Thailand 5 Baht (either a 1977 or 1979)
1 ABC Batting Cage token
2 clad quarters (bent)
1 clad dime (bent)

I love my tellers

Yeah, especially with the weak US dollar, you made out very well.

Kudos.

Yes I did. It is a start on this years Canadian vacation. Last summer I had a bit less than $200.00 Canadian that I got from coin machine rejects. Paid for the gas, food and recreation. Even had enough left over to buy my wife a couple of silver rings at a Victoria coin shop:)
