Any ideas on the call-bell(not crotal bell) looking relic?
Found at a cellar hole I located on a 1857 map. Site looked to have been recently detected. But I did managed a couple keepers.
*80 - 90 on AT Gold, I believe it's brass, and it sounds like a hotel call bell when I strike it w/ a metal object.

Thoughts from the pros?? .. thanks for looking!

The bell looks like it goes to a telephone ringer box

Actually the telephone ringer makes sense. This particular cellar hole is probably 1/8 mile from an old narrow gauge railroad track & depot.
Now it's just an ATV / snowmobile trail , but I do recall seeing old telegraph - telephone poles while out dirt biking.
