Middle TN finally caught a break in the heat and I ventured out. Mosquitoes were still thick on the creek I was near.
I recovered the items in the first picture today, including the nicest coin purse frame I’ve ever found, in a cavalry camp near Shelbyville TN occupied by Joe Wheeler. I added the finds to a case of relics from same camp that I detected earlier in the summer.
