Hello all
I got very lucky today and happen to come across this, I'm pretty familiar with Art and Artist , but not as knowledgeable as others , hopefully some of you can help. When I saw this I could not put it down, it looked too old and reminded me of an Artist.... Then it hit me, it looks like Rembrandt's style I decided to take it.Not saying it's by him but its close in style and age, I have plenty of pictures!
Problem is it looks like there is writing on both bottom sides, but unless you are an expert that deals with signatures and the knowledge of 1000s of Artist, It take an expert to make out what it says!
I will also up load some pictures of work done my Rembrandt, one in particular, notice the gray ink as in mine and the lines in the face, very similar. Also is the case with many old High End drawings that have sold by several artist on ebay, is the White and Gray mix of color, my drawling looks very similar.
My camera and lighting picked up more lighting than the picture shows its actually darker and less yelloiwsh, I've included a white regular piece of paper for a side by side comparison!
The last 2 pic are of a drawling by Rembrandt ( I found that uses the same white and gray color scale, also look at the eyes in both drawlings!!)
Thanks Enjoy
