Research and forgotten Placenames

I’ve done years of research on the Native People of my area and I’m always forgetting how the ancient placenames relate to today’s placenames. So many locations have changed names over the years and older texts use the oldest names.

So, I built a little database for my use, but anyone can use it and add to it.
I just built it yesterday so there isn’t a lot of data in it yet:
