when you research metal detecting do you only use one website out forum just curious. I'm new to this hobby sorta at least online I am. I'm just trying to find out because everyone I ask my thread gets deleted

I belong to about nine different online forums. When "researching" a forum is a great place, but it is also dangerous for a new hobbyist who may not be able to tell opinion from fact. I encourage you to talk with forum sponsors when researching machines and equipment, then ask members for their opinions. Now, for places to hunt in your area, the local library, and historical society is always the way to go. Hope you find the answers you're looking for!
