Retro Glashutte Watch

Found a bag of watches I got awhile back for cheap. I only bought the bag for a 1971 Caravelle my wife wanted. It was perfect. Anyway, I was looking through the bag again recently and saw this automatic vintage Glashutte Spezichron! Works fine, but is plenty scratched up so I don't have to worry bout what I'm doing when I wear it. The plated mesh strap was toast, so I put on a cheap $5 one. I like it! Not worth a whole lot, but when was the last time you saw an old Glashutte?

Not many German made wristwatches out there to be found in thrift stores I'd say. Nice find. I saw this Glashutte last month in Las Vegas. The lady asked me if I'd like for her to get it out of the case to see it up close. I told her that's okay, I'm pretty sure I won't be buying it. I didn't even ask how much they wanted for it.

There's a quite a few high end watch shops anymore in Las Vegas, now that it's become such an international travel destination.
