Cru'dad & I spent just over 4 hours in the best weather we have had in weeks. The ground was perfect, wet deeper but dry on top. We finally finished the last piece of the field & did a little better than we expected. Dad broke his hammered drought with a heavily clipped halfpenny.

Other finds included:
2 Roman Coins (1 was very far from the Roman Site)
1 Royal Farthing
Jetton (good condition)
Dandy Buttons
Tudor Book Clasp
Cloth Seal
Belt Decor
Bits...

Nice finds as usual Cru. The Jetton looks to be in good shape.

Interesting finds! Can you read the moneyer´s name? HH. Mike

Not that bad Cru! Do you have any options left now?

No, we will have to drive around & find something:dontknow: (95% of our farmers are 'crop only', & no-one has set-a-side anymore):sadsmiley:

On the hammered halfpenny or Jetton? The hammered is from one of the later Henry's & only shows the mint (London), not moneyer.

Actually, I meant the Jetton, they were made just down the street from me, LOL. Looks like a Hans Krauwinckle. The Henry is cool. HH, Mike

Yeap, you got it. These are the most common ones to find in the UK.
