We made a return trip Monday to where I found my barber quarter and between the boy and I we found 14 Indians.
On our second hunt we each found another silver and a total of 11 more Indians, 8 for the kid and 3 for myself. Plus another 17 wheats between us both.
My other finds were 2 more flattened coppers, 1936 buffalo, 1903 V-nickle, hem weight and a 1923 merc.
The kids other finds were a 1915 and 1916 buffalo's, dateless V-nickle and a 1907 barber dime.
Total now for two hunts at this property we have 8 silvers, 25 Indians and 35 wheats, 3 buffalo's, 2 V-nickles. We plan on waiting for a good rain then hit this site again, we both think there's still more here.
Today I was in the yard next to this where all the limbs and brush are laying in the yard and where I got my seated dime last week. I was cleaning up the yard of limbs and when I finished I hunted for about a half hour.
Today I found a half cent. Lol A single wheat and an aluminum pendant.

Congrats on all the older finds, that's a great place to hunt!!!

Wherever you two hunted is and was a very productive area.it has to be an almost virgin site you two are searching. That was the whole tribe you all unearthed.

really good finds!, love the shot of the barber and Indians!

nice hunt!

When you said half cent I was thinking the 1800's kind and not a half wheat head. Lol! Nice to see all them Indians and old nicks. Was it clad city on top or just old?

Steve

With that many Indians, I bet there is another Barber hiding somewhere there. That's a great haul!

Congrats on another dream hunt. Great scores and a fantastic site.

Some clad, not too much. I think around 10 quarters total and all were in the 60's. And a small handful of memorials and dimes. When I dug my merc it was super shallow and read as a memorial. I flicked it out of the ground with out digging a plug and it went flying.

I thought calling that a half penny was pretty smart. Lol

I think it's just a root. Lol

With that many Indian Head cents turning up , you really might find more Seated Liberty coins too ! Amazing to find a site
that hasn't seen a coil - remind me was this a permission/yard ?

The kid was about 20 yds away when I dug it and hollered over to him that I got a half cent. He shook his head and said really, he wasn't finding much. Lol
This is my first ever cut coin.

Yeah, permission yard. I believe it's a Summer get away home, the owner will be here until August.

The seated dime was found in the yard next to this which also had about a dozen Indians found there too. In this yard we found the barber quarter and barber dime.

What a haul!!!!!!Congrats:headbang:
