return trip to CW / CSA camp

did managed to go to field yesterday, did find a few things, 4 small buckles,
3 - 3 ringers 58 cal., back side of button / 2 piece type, 1/2 horse shoe, old
bottle , and another scabberd tip / sword holder. i'll post pics right after easter dinner this afternoon.. about 6 pics i think. THANKS TO ALL

I THINK THIS SITE MAY HAVE BEEN ONE GEN. WHEELER's CAMPS. SEEMS THAT
THE OR's ARE RIGHT IT PUTS HIM IN TOWN AT OCT. 12 - NOV. 10 1864. I DID
SOME RESEARCH / ok alot of research/ BUT HAVE PROBLEM GETTING THE LAY OUT OF THE CAMP , VERY LARGE FIELD , RIVER REALLY CLOSE BY, OLD PLANTATION HOUSE \ 2 SLAVE HUTS. (( HOSPITAL DURING CW)). THERE'S LIKE A 1000 ACRES AROUND THE SITE. IT'S HARD TO PUT IN PROSPECTIVE THE SIZE OF THIS PLACE. I LOVE THIS PLACE . IT MAKES ME FEEL SO SMALL.
LOT'S A LAND TO WALK OVER.
