That button is incredible! You even got a piece of the thread... I hope you kept that too since it was part of a Revolutionary War Soldiers uniform.. it doesn't get much better than that.

I've found 1860s military buttons with the cloth still but I never imagined it could be possible for a rev war button! Nice find
