when I googled images of rev arty buttons all I see are ones with the cannon facing right. Mine faces left.

It's American War of 1812. The Revolutionary War American artillery buttons did not have stacks of cannon balls under them.

Got it: Google "American War of 1812 button army of tennessee". It's on the top row, far right.

It's American War of 1812. The Revolutionary War American artillery buttons did not have stacks of cannon balls under them.

Early Buttons Item eb22 and I spoke with the owner of the sight he ID it as a USA & E
I believe that is what you have. Poor shape but rare
Powhatan station relics. early buttons I have one
