Revolutionary war cannonball!!!!!!

I don't know where to begin. But this was #1 on my revolutionary war bucket list. I still can't believe it.

So I went into a field we have done a bunch of times. It's on the battle of Rhode Island site. I got a good signal on my deus. It was reading 88-92. I dug down about 1+ feet and still the signal was kick ass. I told my buddy there was something good down there. So he started recording it. Well I found a rusty square nail so he was bummed and stopped recording it. I checked the hole and my pinpointer was still going off. I dug about a foot more and felt an edge so I thought it was a a plow edge. I put my shovel in and pryed it up and the can't believe that it was a cannonball that popped up.

So I took it to the bar for a couple of beers for the victory tour

Yeah it was pretty funny. Especially explaining to everyone that 15 minutes from where they were sitting the largest battle in new England took place the battle of Rhode Island. Nobody even knew...sad.
