Relic Hunting
I found these during my most recent outing. The site has been producing many musket balls (All Dropped) and a few blank pewter buttons. Nothing to get too excited over though. Not sure what 2 of the items are. Was hoping for a little help. I'll probably post them over in the "what is it" forum too. I think the date on the KGII is 1731?

1. Can anyone confirm whether this is a knee buckle or more modern?

2. Any idea what the cylindrical piece with a wooden rod inside might be? The wood is deteriorating quickly, so it will need to be preserved.

3. The small 1" piece??? I am stumped.

Thanks for your help and thanks for looking!

the small one piece is a finial

Nice finds! You definitely have a knee buckle and the small piece is a bayonet scabbard finial.

Thank you for the help with ID'ing. Any idea what the piece might be with the wooden rod inside?

Definitely a colonial knee buckle. Looks like your in a very nice spot.
