Finds are from 2 sites I’ve been hitting at my local park and a new site just discovered this weekend.

Shout out to Steve in PA for help with the convex Rifleman’s Button. Could not find an exact match in his book, but most likely 1812-1820. Any help with exact ID appreciated.

The new site is unfortunately pretty overgrown, wish I would have found it 3 months ago. Found the stone lined cellar with typical broken bricks, pottery and glass around. Dug some nice relics then noticed the crystal thing. In situ, feels like it was park of this 1800’s cellar hole site, but could be from a modern hippie hiker.

Thinking the long piece above the clay pipe is a broken musket butt plate upper. The piece above that looks like a heel plate, but maybe a drawer lock catch.

Not sure what the big emblem is off, probably an early car or tractor. Also a smashed wheat penny.

Happy Memorial Day!

Fun hunt, that certainly produced a nice variety of recoveries.
Well done on the buttons, silver, and the relics.

Now that’s a great handful of relics. Great looking and unusual button. 👍
Congrats,

Nice finds Thad. Love the Rifleman's button. I've found a couple different Rifleman's buttons, but not that style motif yet.

Outstanding finds buddy :) Thanks for sharing

Lots of neat relics. Is that one photo showing a piece to a huge crotal bell?
