Having some decent January weather so I went out and found a site I had found thru research….
Found this ultra rare 1820s Riflemen’s Officer flat button. Not a bad way to start 2023!

Nice button. I've been wanting to find one of those. It's RF27A in Albert's book. A guy found one on a site I took him to. I don't know if I would call it "ultra" rare, as I have seen quite a few of them found/posted.

Thanks Steve, here in my part of Ohio, not many early military buttons are found, should have used different wording for “ultra rare”…
