Right before dark

I got off work just early enough to slip in about an hour of hunting in before dark. As always I had a blast but did not have enough time.? I did find a peice of a hilter youth knife ,a 50 cal round and a couple of coins. HH

Very nice!!! The age of the coins you always find amaze me. I know there's a lot of history there. But is the 1800's a common find there? Is there many people that detect over there? I envy the finds you make. Great Finds!! HH

Late 1800'S coins are pretty common . 8 out of 10 times they are the one pfennings.I am really happy when I dig one that is in good shape.The soil overhere really does a number on these coins sometimes.

I think what Zeb means is ,on paper there are alot of places that you are not soppoed to hunt. Also, unless you have a permit. I have had no problem so far other then being asked not to dig a couple of times . I have had one German guy try to buy my detector from me.LOL
