Had some time to hunt today after work. Picked a couple of wheats (1915 & 1927) and an old marble.

But, the highlight of the day was the last signal of the day!
The back story.........The gas station where I fill up is also a convenience store for that neighborhood and is situated across from a local middle school. It has a large "L" shaped grassy lot on the west and south sides. The owner gave me permission to hunt there earlier this summer. So, when there is time, I usually hunt for about an hour when I gas up..........my version of a gas discount.
Last week a neighborhood girl stopped to talk and asked if I could find her gold wedding band that was "lost" in the grass. She indicated an area that she thought it might be. I was unsuccessful on the first two attempts. Today, as she was leaving the store, I asked her a few questions about how the ring was lost and determined from the story that it was some distance from where she had originally indicated. Ten minutes later..........

It is a small white gold band (matching her engagement ring) that sang out loud and proud when the Compadre coil went over top. I let her pick it out of the dirt........"You made my day! You made my day!". She offered a reward........I declined........I had my reward!!
Thanks for lookin', keep swingin' while the weather holds and good luck to all!
