Went to an older park I like didn't do very good out in the grass so I hit the first of two Tot lots in the park and first signal was the ring inside the band has been scratched out real bad so no markings so I tested it with my new acid test kit and holy smokes it passed 18k then I tried 22k and I can still see the streak but It did not pass Platinum.
Found this little heart the other day but didn't have the test kit yet.The little heart pendant passed 10k the part that broke off the back must have been what was marked.
I wonder if the ring was from an old girlfriend or an ex and that is why it was scratched out (maybe it was inscribed) but why scratch out the purity mark?:icon_scratch: 100_4375.JPG100_4374.JPG100_4373.JPG100_4376.JPG

Nice gold finds! Congrats! Maybe they were trying to remove any identifying marks.

I'm looking forward to hitting some tot lots!

Nice finds! What did they "ring" up at? :) What do they ring up at in the air?

I was thinking that also, this park isn't in the best part of town.

The ring came in at a solid 48 and the heart comes in at 56.

My wife thinks the heart was a quinsenetta gift for a girl excuse the spelling.

Sweet finds !

Good score on the ring.
