I wish I could help Id the mark but came up empty. :BangHead:
I would say if it's gold, which it seams to be then I'd say the stones are rubies.
Is that the only mark? Nice ring. HH :icon_thumright:

BK,If you look at pic1 bottom stone between eight and nine o'clock you'll see a spot on the gold, brass,it's plated with a very thick plating, only marks.

the mark looks to me like a 8 which is the German standard for
33.3 percent gold. I have scrapped out 9 before but not 8k.
so it is a bit beloew 10k for some reason they do not put the k mark in some gold.

I believe prior to 1907 they didn't use the K,I know this ring is old by looking at it.Thanks!!

I think it is gold - I found a diamond ring similar
it had same diamond inside except mine had a P
inside the diamond stamped shape - mine was platinum
took it to 5 jewelers - 4 said it was crap
one guy was a gemologist and said it was plat. and was from late 1800's
I would believe that yours was from same time frame
nice ring
ps - those could be "blood rubies" - your older rubies were deep red - and are more valuable
or could be garnets
