Ring n Thing

3-1/2 hours out there this morning. Longer than I usually stay.

I found a "thing" but I have no idea what it is. Do you?

I found some cheap sunglasses and I found a ring right off the bat but alas it is junk. I did pretty good with clad, well better than I normally find anyway. $2.91 It was a good morning for me.

The ring

looks nice and shiney but no markings of any kind. Oh well next time......

If it feels like lead, then I would say the left over lead from a fishing jig/hook. The hook and eye rusted off.

Well I'll be darned. I've never seen a fish hook like this but then I'm no fisherman either. Thanks guys!

Don't be too hasty to throw that ring in the junk box, till ya put some silver test acid on it. See how it acts, or color changes maybe. Have found some unmarked winners in the mix, savvy?

Gulf Hunter is right. Get a test kit if you don't already have one and check everything. I've also found good things that were unmarked.
