...with the sweet sound of silver! I haven't hunted since late August because of school, so I was eager to get back in the game once I got home. My three boxes of halves last week thoroughly skunked me, and then today, voila, my best score to date:
Box 1: 10x 40%, 1x '64, 1x '51
Box 2: 11x 40%, 2x clad proof
Box 3: 22x 40%
Total: 43x 40%, 2x 90%, 2x clad proof
It's amazing how the finds vary from one week to the next. I'm going to order a little extra for this coming week to see if I can find out where the rest of those Franklins wound up. The '51 was a hole-filler for me. I wish there had been a better ratio of 90-40%ers, but it's still a little over 7 oz. of silver to kick off 2018!
Snagged these neat foreign coins from a local CoinStar a couple days back:
A 1960 French 1 Franc, 1991 Indian 50 paise, and 1980 Hong Kong 20 cents to add to the collection
