Detected for about 4 hours in the last part of the park. The ground is always really soft and wet here so Iv been putting it off until it was a nice dry day out. Didn't have school today so it was perfect. Found the usual trash, 2 bucks and some change in clad a 925 rings with stones (probably cz), a costume pinky ring that I thought would be my first gold ring (that's the first heartbreaker of the day), a small wrench, and then what I thought was a broken Rolex yacht master but was still in good shape. It just wasn't ticking and the back was extremely scratched up on the Rolex hologram. I tried to play it cool even though I was freaking out and just put it In my pocket. I decided I'd go look in the creek before I left and I found 2 insulators less than 10 yards from each other. They Are the exact same. Then I couldn't take it any more so I packed up jumped in my car and took off to the jewelry store by my house. Turns out the watch was a fake, but a very good, it felt cheap any way, like extremely light and something just felt off. I'll laugh about this one day. Just not today lol. I'm on a role for rings this month though, the only 4 Iv found have all been recently so I'm still very happy with today's finds.
