WOW! Nice rings!!

both awesome looking finds!! congrats

Are there any markings whatsoever on emerald ring ?
The emerald ring may be something more than "just an emerald ring".

AND... what Karat is it ?... IF no marks... then please tell me what with and how tested.

Haven't had it tested but the marks inside are hard to read

Careful with any offers the "tester" may give...
If this ranks high in Karat... say 20+... further evaluation is needed...
Gemologist etc.

AND do not buy into "The stone is not clear... so its not worth anything".

The reason I say this is...
You may have a real serious antique/antiquity here.

Thanks for the info I have had another look at the marks one is MDK and there is 23C I think also a star followed by the letters SJ

C is for carrot of a gem. K is for karat of gold.
Therefor I would think you may have a 23 carrot stone.
If there is no other marking it may be from before the early 1900s, when marking was not mandatory.
My best guess. Nice find!

Great rings. That one does look pretty old. That so cool!

Way to go nice finds. I'll be at a Lake after a long winter the weekend of the 11th.

I agree with ARRC that could be worth a lot more than the gold or stone

Very nice rings! That green stone is an oldie and a beauty!

Love the rings!

If that is an emerald and you get it tested, don't let it out of your sight: vintage emeralds are usually the real deal from Columbia and can be extremely valuable (maybe $100K NZD). Maybe not, but it could be you won the metal detecting lottery.

Thanks for all your comments guys will let you know when I that ring checked out

Super Ring Finds!
