Hi mate its perspective using a big focal length that does it. Some people do splice shots but some don't. I don't believe this is a two shot shot but the use of a big focal length.
This will explain it better than I can.

Why does the Moon look so huge in some photos?

Photographs of a gigantic moon hovering above the landscape are realistically possible using certain lenses. Composite photographs combine photos of the moon with other unrelated photos to create images of fake scenes.

I cropped it a bit and backed off the brightness, right place right time helped too !
