Hello everybody!
Thanks for the wealth of information on this forum.
I finally found a nice stretch of river to focus on that has produced a few native American artifacts over the past few weeks.
I'm in Southeastern PA, not far from Philadelphia.

A cluster of quartz flakes scattered along the bank initially caught my eye in this location.
I brought some home and on close examination I noticed that one of them is actually a small arrowhead. Bird point?
I also found another arrowhead. Its almost like a granite material I think. Can anyone help with identification on it, thanks.

The other stuff was found nearby as well...
... 8 inch pestle flat on one side and round on the other, heavy material. Not sure if it was broke in half or made like this.
... a cutting tool of some sort, jasper material
... bone awl in the making? (I cleaned it) or is that natural? I found another one of these that i didn't clean.

Nice finds fender.

Very nice!
Looks like you found a real good site.
I see a few points I think.

This one looks like a possible Hardaway and likely the oldest one.

Mabey one other broken stemmed base in there also.
The bone is naturally shaped that way.
I'm not sure on the gray one other than it looks like a form of blade.
Nice mano/pestle.
Can you take photos of both sides of the on I zoomed in on first?

Yeah that quartz debitage is hard to tell what is worked and what isnt. But I do see some arrowheads just as Gator has pointed out. The gray point might be Rhyolite or Basalt. You got a good spot.

Grey one looke to be rhyolite. Looks like my stuff here in northern maryland.

Hey
Thank you for the input guys! I'm learning as I go at this hobby, I respect your knowledge and appreciate the insight.:icon_thumleft:
I don't get out hunting much but do a lot of reading on the site so I feel obligated to contribute a post when I can.
Here is a close-up of that first one, I'm thinking it might be scrap because its a little thicker on one side.

I also found this in the same spot. Its a little over 3" in diameter, hard stone, perfectly round. Most of the rocks around here look nothing like this. However I'm not ruling out that it could be a GEOFACT by any means.

I'm thinking tip of broken point now.
It sure looked promising in the other photo.

I'm not sure if he let the state in which these were found be known, but in not seeing a Hardaway there. Looks like a Halifax, if it were found in my neck of the woods. His profile says Philly, correct? Philly isn't far from here, and Halifax points are probably found there. Don't hold my word for the truth, look into it.

@ fender, that sure is a nice looking stone ball. Maybe do that one in another post by itself and ask what it is.

Here we go. :-)
How'd I know this was comming?

I think that the poster here has a nice hammer stone. It's hard to say for certain, especially if it was found in or near water.

nice finds congrats HH

Is that all you say?
I'm chuckling not being rood.. :-)

Nice points. The bone might be deer.. but most bone of that size was cracked for the marrow so not sure. Most bone I find is dark brown or yellow that looks a little fresher.

I found one at my site and I believe it is a hammerstone also. The material/size screams hammerstone. The quartz material is amazing. Great finds/area to search.

Excellent stuff- keep looking, you're right on target. And welcome- I don't remember you posting before, so... ;) Can't wait to see what you find next!
HH, Yak
