These were found a couple of months ago at a construction site down river from me on another river. Coming up river from the lake this would be the location of 2nd highest bluff. I had posted in "Today's Finds" then, and should had posted here too.

These are eyeball finds and the scanning is not it's best. I found many pottery shards, and scanned the biggest piece...you can see the lip with dotted details.

I have not been back out to the site, but I'm pretty sure the heavy equipment are back in action and with the warm days we're having I'm sure the snakes are gearing up for action too.

;) RR

Girl those are some sweet points, as usual. Be careful out there with those snakes!

I still like the little sailor guy, did you ever find out just what it is?

Keep looking!

I wandered over to the site yesterday, nothing has been done as far as construction work goes. The grass is growing, so I just walked around a bit and did find 1 broken point. Yep, it was warm enough for the snakes to be out, so I did not wander too close to the river.

This site did have 2 houses once upon a time...so there's plenty of other eagle eye finds.

Nice Finds, River. Be careful of the snakes, I don't like them at all. Wish I could find something like that here in PA.
