Great pics riverdiver, welcome to T-Net! Is that gun a find, antique, or replica?

I wish it was a find...it was recovered during a contract dive for a local PD to recover stolen goods from a river bottom. It was a huge job that took 3 weeks and allowed me to recover items I am not likely to find u/w ever again.

To answer your question Red_Desert, it was an antique that would have been much nicer had it not been thrown into a river, it was one of a matched pair of guns, along with hundreds of items recovered.

Wow!!!! That is a lot of stuff...it would have taken quite a while, if it had been on land. Good work! :coffee2:

Welcome, you seem to be a 'Good river Diver'. :P

Fossis...........

Thanks fossis,

I do my best and have had the ability to recover every item I have ever been hired to recover to include boats, prescription glasses and even a wedding ring from a mountain river that was lost while the owner was swimming (that was a great day).

Red_desert, that table top photo is one of 4 tables set up in the cellar of the town offices of the PD that hired me to do the recovery, the photos were reshot with a digital camera of the original 8x10's from my collection so they are poor and grainy. I like to refer to that job as my "Mel Fisher" job because of the amount of gold and silver we recovered.

Gold & silver, that makes it a really good haul.
