BuckIdgr and I went for a joy ride, Friday night. We went about 3 hours to what I thought was a bottle & insulator show. We only had a small two hour window for public veiwing. That being said, BuckIdgr wasn't stopping to let me get pics. These are on the fly (And we were flying).

Turns out it was mostly an insulator show. And a small one at that. We couldn't leave empty handed.
Still not stopping. I literally stuck the camera out the window and just pushed the button twice and managed to get this.
Well, this stopped us. LOL!
It was cool to have a front row seat.
Yeah we slowed way down for this.
We did stop in Fort Recovery. This park is dedicated to all Veterens.
Not sure how accurate either of these accounts are. What we read was that over 900 men were killed in addition there were 250 women that were with the army that were either killed or taken prisoner. Here is a link for more information:

I don't think they took inflation into account 
The names of all the veterans are on the wall.
The actual Fort Recovery. Everything was closed and we still needed supper, so all we have is pics. We hope to go back.
Red Headed Nance was one of the few women to survive the defeat. She was armed only with a frying pan.
