Here's some of the last stuff we found in 08. One of my boys found the point in the river, and the other stuff came from creeks. The shell thing appears to maybe be a broken pendent. I don't know what kind of shell that is, but I don't think it is from around here. The cone thing, I don't know what to think about. It's small, 1/2'' by 1/2'' and appears to be high polished gray hardstone. I think the agate was a hammerstone or mano. The large pieces, my guess would be an end scraper and a chopper/scraper. But, then again, I'm just a good ole boy from Iowa and don't know squat. ;D Thanks for the look!

The cone shaped thing is likely not Indian made. Those are tumble media for vibratory finishers and tumble blasters.

Thanks Hillbilly, I'll tell him.
Thanks Pickaway.
Thanks Hippy, you might be right. That's what my bro thinks.

After further review, with the help of some key words provided by Hippy, I now believe Hippy and my brother are right. The cone is a ceramic cone vibratory media. Oh well, I got a huge reject pile to throw it on. ;D That's what I love about T-net, a lot smart folks on here. I just hate having to admitt to my bro he was right. ::)
