Measurements: 3.5" tall, 1.5-2.5" wide, 1-1.5" thick
Description: stone with hole through top center. Small area on stone has very small green pictures that look like glyphs. One of the pictures/symbols looks like a serpent.
The stone looks to be made out of some form of quartz mix.

Close up of symbols have weird etching beneath.

Hole appears to be natural, when blown up there is no signs of drilling visible.

it looks to me as if something was pressed against it and it left marking, rather like a child's tattoo. sometimes old labels from bottles or jars will leave a ghost image on whatever they are pressed against.

I hadn't thought of that but it seems much more likely than the alternative. Plus, now that I think about it, the friends house I found this at hosted a birthday party where there were press on tattoos. Thanks for the input.

I found something else

What I thought was simply a smudge or piece of dirt, when zoomed in in, seems to actually be three creatures. They are so small that someone would have had to use a zoom or scope just to draw them. Do you see what I see?

Here are some zoomed in photos of the bottom most creature from the last photo I posted. One is with no editing, the white ones I have changed some of the filters to make what I see more apparent.

After showing a few friends, each said they saw two faces, and I only saw a dogs face with an intenna, but after looking at it for some time, it is like one of those optical illusion pictures where what you see can change depending on the way you look at it.

I notice that in the original images the pattern seems to have a weave or pixilation - like it was transferred from fabric or a grainy image copy.

Charlie - I agree with you 100% but am not sure what could have done it. Maybe even laser printed or color etched. Idk. Also, apologize for delay in response, things around here have only gotten more mysterious and not sure, but may be in relation to this. Thanks for d the feedback

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that any "mysterious" things you may be experiencing, they are not being caused by this rock.
