1st - Notice this is your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard! Take a look at Sub-Forums: Wisconsin for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state. 2nd - nice find - never heard of Limonite Nodules - will have to look that up! :)

found these by a tree while digging. not sure what they are if they are rocks or not. They are really hard, they do not float. Can anyone identify these for my niece?
Have you looked for more in that area? I'm from Southwest Wisconsin and would greatly appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
