What kind of rocks can be found in Greece?Where can I find them?I am especially interested in locations near Athens.What kind of equipment will I need?

Streak plate
Knife (scratch test/ Hardness test)

That's the basics.
As for what rocks are there.. Well go and check it out!
Some rocks are not know in the area until they are found!!

Also a map might be of use, mark out what you found and where.

Be aware of picking up anything that might be considered an antiquity.

Thanks everyone.I went to Lavrion.I found many lead specimens there but I do not think they are worth much.There is an ancient silver and lead mine there.
