Just a guess or maybe just a feeling, it probably does not matter which animal is represented, just sit on his back or stand behind him and look over his head (as in your sixth photo) to the end of the hill in the distance. The two horizontal lines on the back of his head may correspond to the two vertical lines on the end of the hill....perhaps a stopped up cave/tunnel in that area.

I found what I call a shark rock, because someone stuffed a bunch of pointy rocks in there and made it look like it had jagged teeth. These are cell phone pics, and aren't really good quality at all. I don't think it's a sign or symbol. However I thought it was cool and wanted to share.

That's exactly what I have done before. Those two lines are reference points. Use the mountain/hill to determine where the reference points are telling you to go. Looks like you have what some people call a Jesuit sign...the one that looks like a seven. Wherever your next point is, you will be able to see from sitting on the animal. I would go to the hill it refers to and take more pictures. Look for more obvious man made or moved rocks, trees, whatever.

Gord..hehehe. Thats what I was thinking too. Oddrock makes perfect sense though, to me. Treasurechest, interesting! Could be a few reasons for it I suppose. Neat to find stuff like that.

Most THs reconginze or are familar with a "gunsight", but not all are familar with a "half-gunsight." I'm not saying that what you have is a half-gunsight, but you very well might have one. Worked for me.
