I'm out on the road for a couple nights over in western Colorado and eastern Utah. I had to first run down by Penrose, Colo and then head over Monarch pass. After I got to the west side of the divide the weather had changed to a much more cloudy cooler and very windy climate. Along hwy 50 I stopped to look over a place I've found a few pieces of stone artifacts over the years. I didn't find anything this time, but within the rocky ground there are still wonderful natural things to see.
Wildflowers are coming out here too. The fiddleheads are almost all unfurled...spring is here I believe!
