Anyone? If you have over a couple thousand to dump, how are you transporting?

I never have done more than $1200 in a single dump(enough to fit in my large beach pail)

If I had, let's say $5,000 to dump, there are multiple banks with free coin counters in my area. I may spread the dumps throughout 4-5 banks to make it look like less to each bank, because $5,000 in coin can be quite overwhelming(we are talking about half dollars)

...then you are that arrogant CRH'er in my area that is hogging up all of my coins?!?!!?!? HAHA, JUST KIDDING!!! I never run into crh'ers in my area, so don't worry!

Googling around can usually find you a 20% off coupon.

I use it for picking up too. The tellers love it, I just hand it to them and they take it in back to load it up.

Wow, you clearly have more bravado than I do. I limit myself to $250 per branch as there are no coin counters available I'd love to dump $1000 at the teller, but I know I'd get cut off in no time.

I've dumped up to 3k before on a coin counter at a single branch, though the branch manager isn't a big fan of that much. I just haul the coins in the plastic coin lock bags. I can carry 1k in at a time. (halves or dimes)

i dump 3-4k at once at BoAs. 1 i like to dump at is right inside a supermarket so i use one of their carts, i love that BoA so much. Otherwise i carry 4 bags (2k) by hand and make 2 trips for my dumps

I use large canvas bank bags. I find that I can fit $1000 per bag. I generally try not to dump more than $2000 at a time. I pray that one day the bottom doesnt rip out of my bag.... that would be bad.

Wish they had counters..... they claim they dont own any. They provide me bags and i load up $500 in each and they deposit initially and adjust it when its sent off to be counted. Fine by me, i still get my money quick

I do in fact carry around a rolling suitcase to dump my coins, it saves me the back pain from hauling them around. The only lifting I do is from the ground to the car and vise versa.

I use the coin lock bags.

Don't put more than $500 even though it appears that $1000 will fit up to the "fill line"

Most armored car guys won't lift bags that are more than $500 face which weighs about 27-28 pounds for dimes, quarters, and halves.

They'll grief the tellers and the bank and then the bank might grief you or cut you off.

I was dumping a few plastic restaurant-style mayonaise containers at a bank and the teller that changed my bag for me was also the teller who gave me my cash. We struck up a brief conversation about me saving coins for a long time and she tells me that a while back her brother had tons of coins he had saved for years ( ) and he loaded up a rolling cooler and wheeled them up to the coin counter and used an ice scoop to get them into the hopper. She said he had about 4k saved up. Imagine what was in that haul.

Anyway, a rolling drink cooler could be a way to easily transport, too.
