(the picture with the knife is Dad's 2 day [9 hour] explore on new land, pretty much a bust for any good areas)

Today we spent 5 hour 15 minutes finishing the new site we discovered by covering the remaining pottery scatter.

As we had no Roman Coins we were convinced last week we had a site that stopped being used in the 1st C AD. This theory was proved today with a rare Iron Age (Celtic) Bronze Unit of RUES 10BC-10AD. Its my first one of this type.:headbang:

2 Jettons
Buckles
Medieval Swivel piece
Dad got a nice silver seal with stone - 'Peace to you all' - 19th C.

We have some Bronze age. No Iron age or Roman. It picks up around 1000 AD. HH, Mike
