I started to post this under your pic, but seriously....didn't want to ruin your GORGEOUS pic!

We took this pic on 20 NOV 2019 on the way to town. Road had been flooded for a few weeks so I guess the eagles became accustomed to having the area to themselves without the traffic. Pic is from the camcorder at max zoom, so not nearly the quality of Ron's eagle pic. ....Actually, the only way I could get that kind of quality is if I made some huge sort of mistake! :BangHead:

It's a good picture Keith, as seeing eagles is always a cool sight. Don't you get caught in the cold up there and thanks for posting you're awesome experience.:icon_thumleft:

This our annual eagle time, as they come in droves to feast on the
dead Chum salmon. The Chum run is very depleted, so sadly not
as many eagles return each year.

Back when I was fishing from my drift boats, it wasn't unusual to
drift under a tree with 10-15 of 'em sitting there staring down on
us.

Awesome birds, but not quite as beautiful when they have their
head buried in the guts of a dead salmon.. eating-02.gif

It's always great to be able to get a pic of eagles. Right now around here they are almost the most kinds of birds we see.
