Hey there! This site is an awesome resource! I'm a Southern CA rookie just getting into prospecting. I'd like to take a weekend trip somewhere that is FREE to camp and pan/sluice. I prefer dispersed car camping or backpacking if possible in order to get away and be in my own little world. I've been looking into Piru (I live near Los Padres) as well as Keyesville, but can't find specific info on campgrounds or trails. Any suggestions would be super appreciated.
