Took this from the car window. Three shot burst. Had a 1.4 teleconverter on the 400mm lens. Never have got good pictures of moving targets with the teleconverter attached. It focuses really slow. Took the last picture of the same bird a little further down the road.

I've got to get one of those " high dollar" cameras you boys use,I'm missing all the good shots! God Bless Chris

Man, you got some good ones there. I got one of them high dollar cameras worldtalker and I don't come nowhere close. Apparently there's a little skill and operator intelligence involved too.

Just BEAUTIFUL, Ron!

I was a diehard 35mm film user for 25yrs. until I looked at digital cameras, bought a Nikon cool pix 100,I am amazed at what it can do,need something better now!!!The old Canon AE1 is just sittin in the corner!

Loved the 35mm film and it took me forever to go over to that digital. When it first come out I thought I could see all the little squares. It's way more better now. Fuji film was always the best for color I thought and I really liked shooting in B&W. Nikon's a great camera, but I like my Canon.

I agree on the Fugi.Had a Mammiya C-330s 105mm long way back, still got the negatives, like to get them converted to digital, recon I'll have to google it!

Great pics Ron :icon_thumleft:, I've probably asked you before, but what camera are you using.

Thanks Hammered, I use a Canon XSI.

Many Thanks to ALL for your comments!

I think you did good. I have a tele and even though setting to infinity at distance with manual focus have never gotten a good moving shot at anything.

:icon_thumright:beautiful photographs

Beautiful Hawk and pics are great. I like how you captured the different phases of him taking off.
